About FiveStripe

FiveStripe is a catalogue, not a school and not a streaming site. It organises instructional content that other people published on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and the open web, and files it under the position you are actually in: side control bottom, closed guard submissions, saddle entries, and so on.
We do not host videos or reproduce paywalled instructionals.
Right now the catalogue has 967 resources (892 YouTube videos) across 26 positions, 206 topics, 225 named techniques and 241 instructors.
What we are not
We are not a replacement for a coach or an academy, and we do not publish original instructionals. The catalogue points at public lessons other people already made.
Votes and privacy
There are no accounts. A thumbs-up or thumbs-down is stored against a random id in your browser and aggregated anonymously. Until a video has five votes, lists are ordered by how popular the creator is (YouTube subscribers when we know them, otherwise our curated ranking of that instructor). After five votes, the community score takes over so the explanations that actually helped people float up. You can retract a vote by pressing the same button again. A study list lives only on this device.
Gi and no-gi
The tree covers both. Use the filter on any resource list to show gi, no-gi, or everything. Resources tagged “both” stay visible either way.
