Terms of use

FiveStripe (fivestripe.app) is run by On the Button Limited, a company registered in the Isle of Man (company number 135320C). By using FiveStripe you agree to these terms. Contact: oss@fivestripe.app.

What FiveStripe is

FiveStripe organises free BJJ lessons that their creators publish on YouTube, Instagram and elsewhere. We do not host those lessons: each one belongs to its creator and plays from their platform. Creators can change or remove them, so a lesson may stop working.

Train safely

Jiu-jitsu is a contact sport and can cause injury. Lessons are for learning, not a substitute for a qualified instructor, and you train at your own risk. Energy estimates in the training log are rough guides, not medical advice.

Your account

You need to be 13 or over to have an account. Give a working email address and keep your password and sign-in methods safe: you are responsible for what is done with your account.

What you add

You keep ownership of the gameplans, notes, links and images you add. You let us store them and show them to you and to the people you share them with. Only add what you have the right to share.

Do not add anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else’s rights. We may remove content, or pause an account, that breaks these terms.

Using FiveStripe fairly

Do not try to break into accounts or the service, overload it, scrape it at a rate that harms it, or send spam suggestions.

FiveStripe Pro

• Pro costs €40 for a year or €99 for lifetime, paid through PayPal. The price you pay is shown before you pay.
• Neither renews by itself. A year adds twelve months to any Pro time you have left. Lifetime lasts for as long as FiveStripe runs.
• Pro lets you save gameplans, add your own videos (including unlisted ones), run gym and franchise tools, create and share curricula, and log training sessions.
• When a year ends, nothing is deleted: what you made becomes read-only, and the free features keep working. Adding another year unlocks it again.
• A discount code can be used once per account.

Refunds

If Pro is not for you, email oss@fivestripe.app within 14 days of paying and we will refund you in full. This does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

Changes to FiveStripe

We may change or remove features, and we may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. If we ever close FiveStripe, we will tell account holders by email first.

Liability

FiveStripe is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Ending

You can stop using FiveStripe at any time, and delete your account from your account page. We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by Isle of Man law, and the Isle of Man courts deal with disputes. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protections of the law where you live.
